Appy irday Upple Loop

Today was my brother Luke's birthday. He would be 41 years old.

It has become tradition for my kids and I to let balloons go on Luke's birthday. We added something to our tradition. We bought ourselves gifts, wrapped them and then opened them after letting the balloons go. It made me feel good to buy my kids (and myself) something and it was fun to open gifts. The best part was hearing Lucy sing "Appy irday Upple Loop."

I hope to create memories for my kids around my brother because they don't have any memories about him.

Havasupai

What an Adventure!

Our first time hiking Havasupai was awesome, despite the freezing nights, heavy packs, and dead car battery. The beauty of the falls and being with family made every mile worth it.

Conducting MoTab

While trying to keep the kids involved yet quiet and hoping they were somewhat paying attention during General Conference I discovered that letting them "lead" the songs helped them get their wiggles out and focus a little more. So, here are my little prodigies, conducting the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
