Quick and Easy Kid's Activities
- let kids "carve" with a bar of soap and a plastic butter knife
- make "spy gadgets" out of empty toilet paper rolls
- freeze army men or other small toys in a one gallon ice cream bucket then give them kid appropriate hammers and let them go to town trying to get the toys out
- make up funny names (see my post "New Name" it's quite fun)
- make up your own stories
- make fruit loop necklaces
- have your kids fold cloth napkins while you fix dinner
- play "going on a bear hunt"
- kids love empty boxes!
- push your kids around or let them push each other in a laundry basket
- do jumping jacks (this can be hilarious)
- let your kids get messy while playing with shaving cream on a cookie sheet
- paint your sidewalk/patio with water on a hot day

Isn't that awesome? I was washing an old bedset of mine for Elena today. It's so fun to see them like your old stuff (which were far superior to toys today btw).
